How do you set up and remove an x-ray cassette in the Hillrom Trauma Stretcher?
keyboard_arrow_downTo set up:
- Place the x-ray cassette into the panel directly under the area to be x-rayed
 - Pull the x-ray actuation lift lever on either side of the stretcher outward and turn in the direction of the arrow, raising the x-ray cassette vertically up the sleep deck
 
To remove:
- Turn the x-ray actuation lift lever in the opposite direction of the arrow, lowering the x-ray cassette away from the sleep deck
 - Remove the x-ray cassette

Do I have to lift my patient in order to set up an x-ray cassette in preparation for x-ray on my Hillrom Stretcher?
keyboard_arrow_downNo, there is no need to lift your patient to set up an x-ray cassette in preparation for x-ray. The Hillrom Trauma Stretcher features a full-length x-ray cassette platform and radiolucent deck.
